A CHRISTMAS craft fair with a touch of quality takes place in Sidmouth on Saturday.

The fair is set to take place at St John Hall, Blackmore Drive, between 10am and 4pm. There will be stalls selling silver and glass jewellery, knitwear, Christmas cards and stained glass Christmas ornaments.

All stallholders are from East Devon. A Newton Poppleford craftsperson will be offering homekiln glassware and one from Budleigh Salterton will have wooden toys and cheesboards for sale. A stall of bags, hats and scarves to match is also on the cards.

Liz Sharples, of Busy Lizzie’s Craft and Plant Shop, Newton Poppleford will have products including knitwear, jewellery, marmalades and olive oils.

Local artist Roger Hann will be exhibiting at the sale. He said: “It’s all high quality stuff, ideal for Christmas gifts. There will be Christmas songs playing in the background, giving it a nice festive atmosphere.”
