SHOULD Devon prepare for floods, heat waves and droughts?

Dr Vicky Pope, head of climate change advice at the Met Office, will talk about Climate Change - The Facts, at Norman Lockyer Observatory, Salcombe Hill, Sidmouth, on Friday, (May 29) at 7pm.

Her presentation and open discussion is a free event, backed by the Vision Group for Sidmouth, Sid Valley Energy Action Group, Met Office and Norman Lockyer Met Group, and takes place in the observatory's main lecture hall.

Donations to the observatory telescope fun are welcome and there will be a prize for all those who walk, cycle or car share to the talk.
