The road was closed this morning after a male suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision.
The A30 westbound carriage has reopened following a serious collision this morning.
Delays are still expected on the road, after a collision between a car and the central reservation at around 7.30am today (Wednesday, July 22) near Daisymount, Ottery St Mary.
The male driver, who suffered life-threatening injuries, has been taken by ambulance to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
