A CHORAL concert in Sidmouth on Saturday, April 16, will boost a Sidmouth Methodist Church project to help youngsters in the community and their families.

The Coalville Male Voice Choir will perform at the Victoria Road venue at 7.30pm.

Proceeds will go to the church’s Family Worker Project.

The Coalville Male Voice Choir was formed in 1944 and regularly help raise funds for charities.

“The highlight of the year for (choir) members is an annual weekend away at one of the UK’s coastal resorts,” said Sidmouth Methodist Church’s Tony Wakeman, who is also the line manager for the Family Worker Project.

“Even these breaks have a focus on singing and include a concert for charity at a local church,” he added.

“This year the choir has chosen Sidmouth as the venue and the Methodist Church for the concert. It is hoped the concert will be well supported by residents and visitors to the town.”

Tickets (5) are available from Paragon Books or on the door on the night.
