AMENDED PLANS: The town council reiterated their previous concerns over amended plans to build 15 homes in West Hill. Councillors didn’t support proposals, which include 10 affordable houses, at West Hayes Road, citing infrastructure problems, including drainage and water run-off which would be exacerbated. They said the new plans were not materially any different to those already seen, and said there were still problems over inadequate sewers and other matters.
