Conifers stolen from Newton Pop

Three conifer trees were stolen from outside a house in Newton Poppleford at the weekend. The 12ft trees were taken from Venn Ottery Road between 2pm on Saturday, December 20 and 9.30am on Sunday, December 21. A police spokesman said: The conifers are

Three conifer trees were stolen from outside a house in Newton Poppleford at the weekend.

The 12ft trees were taken from Venn Ottery Road between 2pm on Saturday, December 20 and 9.30am on Sunday, December 21.

A police spokesman said: "The conifers are being described as very large and a vehicle would have been needed to transport them. It would have taken several people to load the trees."
