The festive mood will be sparked in Sidmouth when the Christmas lights are switched on next Saturday (November 14).
Heart Radio DJ Matt Rogers will once again have the honour of pushing the button to illuminate the town in Market Place at 5.30pm.
And back by popular demand, local trio Beautiful Blue Mac will be entertaining the crowds from 4.30pm with their versions of popular music by The Beautiful South, Deacon Blue, Fleetwood Mac and George Ezra, as well as some Christmas songs.
Sidmouth Town Council chairman Jeff Turner said: “We are once again very excited to welcome Heart Radio’s Matt Rogers to turn on our beautiful lights display and get Christmas off to a great start.”
After the switch-on, youngsters will have the chance to win a £100 toy voucher, again generously donated by Gliddons Toys.
