Casualties suffered minor injuries in collision near Sidmouth this morning
A car was left on its roof after a crash on Four Elms Hill, near Sidmouth, today (Friday).
Police attended the scene in the early hours of this morning and fire crews and paramedics were called to assist.
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service confirmed there were two casualties who suffered minor injuries and were taken to the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (RD&E).
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue service sent two appliances from Sidmouth at 6.07am in response to reports people were trapped in the car.
Upon arrival, fire crews found that all casualties were clear of the car so they administered first aid and made the vehicle safe.
PCSO Steven Blanchford-Cox, of Sidmouth’s neighbourhood police team, said investigations are ongoing.
The road is now clear.
