Crime increase in Beer

REPORTED crimes in Beer have doubled in the last month. Figures show there was six crimes in September, compared to only three in August and none in September 2008. The crimes related to criminal damage, domestic assault, theft, fraud and driving offences

REPORTED crimes in Beer have doubled in the last month.

Figures show there was six crimes in September, compared to only three in August and none in September 2008.

The crimes related to criminal damage, domestic assault, theft, fraud and driving offences said PC Steve Speariett.

There was only one reported crime in Branscombe last month and none in August. This crime relates to theft from a vehicle and police are again warning people not to leave possessions in their cars unattended.
