Sidmouth’s first ever crime and safety roadshow promises to be a ‘one-stop shop’ for residents to get advice on staying safe in all walks of life.

Sergeant Andy Squires and the neighbourhood police team will hold the first event in All Saints Hall from 11am to 3pm on Saturday, November 18, with more planned for other East Devon towns in the new year.

Sgt Squires said: “Please support us and make the most of this fantastic opportunity. Spread the word as far and wide as possible! We very much look forward to meeting you on the day.”

Present at the event will be the Devon and Cornwall Alerts system, Trading Standards, Drink Wise Age Well, Scam and Fraud Awareness, Home Safeguard, East Devon District Council’s environmental health officers and dog wardens, and Sidmouth Lifeboat

There will also be advice on internet safety, fire safety, drugs awareness and property marking.
