Sidmouth Library is preparing for an afternoon of crime and cream teas at its next author talk.
Diane Janes will talking about her book Death at Wolf’s Nick on Tuesday, June 27 – which is based on a real life crime.
The writer will be speaking about her investigation into an 80-year-old unsolved crime after she was given access to police files.
Carol Pentecost, library supervisor, said: “Diane will give us a fascinating insight into the crime itself, the credible suspect she discovered, and also the attitude to women involved in such cases at the time.”
Tickets cost £4 are available from the library.
