Daffodils are popping up in charity shops across the country and Sidmouth is no exception.
The flower pins are on sale as part of Marie Curie Cancer Care’s annual appeal to encourage everyone to support those with a terminal illness.
Sidmouth Fundraising Group Chairman Trudi Coombes said: “Every penny you give is absolutely vital in helping us support people with terminal illnesses in your area, and provide more of the free hands-on care and emotional support the charity is renowned for.”
Daffodil pins can be picked up from shops, volunteers and Marie Curie Cancer Care in Fore Street.
Friday, March 1 is also a day to wear something yellow to work, as it adds a splash of colour to workplaces and supports the cause.
