FOLLOWING on from the recent success of the Pets Therapy events as Angela Court Nursing Home, the residents recently had a new visitor in the canine shape of 'Darcy' an 8 year old wire haired daschund.

Manager Emma Seal said: "Our residents love visitors coming along to Angela Court and none more so than the four-legged variety. We have had a number of events where a range of creatures have come along for a touch of 'TLC' from our residents. She continued "This totally lifts the spirits of all our residents and often they will come to life, chatting away as they pet and feed the range of cats and dogs that pop in to Angela Court. Sometimes it is noticeable that some residents more readily interact with a cat or dog than perhaps with people and to watch the wide smiles on their faces is an absolute joy!"

Darcy was certainly no exception he has visited the home several times and the residents adore him, he really is a wonderful animal; kind, calm natured and just happy to have all the fuss and attention that Angela Court residents bestow upon him.
