The winner of Ottery’s best allotment has been announced.
Darren Hinch was presented the Bob Johnson Cup. The trophy was handed over by Bob’s widow Ruth.
Judge Les Peek visited the allotments throughout the year before choosing Mr Hinch as the winner.
Carl Richmond, chairman of the allotments committee, said: “Les was very pleased to see the standard was higher than before and that it was quite hard to choose, but felt this one was more consistent.”
