GROUPS and projects aiming to get financial support from Ottery Town Council are running out of time to submit their applications.
A new application form, available with guidance notes, is available from council offices in Silver Street and must be completed and returned before October 31.
The council has a yearly budget from which they can provide financial assistance to causes they feel will benefit the community and who are making reasonable efforts to raise their own funds.
Any organisation based in the Parish of Ottery St Mary is eligible. Grants are usually considered in November each year with cheques presented to successful applicants at the annual parish meeting in April.
