Sidmouth will pay tribute to the armed services with a special service on Saturday.
Visitors and residents have been told to expect delays in the centre between 11am and 12.30pm while the parade passes through the town’s streets.
Dave O’Connor, chairman of the town’s branch of the Royal British Legion, said the procession will form outside Co-op in the High Street at 11.30am before setting off at 11.45am.
Sidmouth Town Band will take the lead before arriving at The Ham for a drum head service, which will be led by the Reverend Robert Chavner.
The event is the same day as Armed Forces Day but will be called ‘Sidmouth’s tribute to the armed forces’ so all ages can feel involved.
