In this freshly updated script by Alan P Frayn, popular local performer Baz Breadmore will be cooking up a treat as Dame Dolly Dumpling and will be well-partnered by Stephen Knight as her son, Idle Jack.
So come along and cheer and boo and follow Dick’s adventures from old London town to the Moroccan shores and see how he turns the tables on the dastardly King Rat!
Dick Whittington runs from Wednesday, February 8, to Saturday, February 11, at 7.30pm in Newton Poppleford Village Hall, with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets (£8, under-16s £4 at the matinee) are available by calling 01395 568897.
