AN animal welfare charity near Sidmouth is looking for a kind-hearted dog lover to look after father and son Jack Russells, Benji, 4, and Zak, 2. The two young dogs are devoted to each other and the team at ARC, based at Wiggaton, are desperate not to see them split up.Serena Moore, from ARC, said: "Sadly since this picture was taken Benji has needed to have an eye removed and will need regular monitoring by the vet."It is a congenital defect and his son Zak will require regular eye checks too."She said ARC would pay vet bills for the lifetime of the dogs and hope to find a home close to Ikin and Oxenham veterinary practice in Ottery where they are registered.Mrs Moore: "They really do need and deserve a permanent home to call their own."If you have a fully enclosed garden, as well as time and love to lavish, contact ARC on (01404) 815487.
