Budding photographers have been offered the chance to have their work featured in a new calendar of “heart-warming, funny and nostalgic” donkey snaps being compiled by The Donkey Sanctuary.
Their 2013 Donkey A Day Calendar will feature “donkey-related photographs and stories from around the world”.
Entries are invited on the theme of anything donkey, from that first donkey ride to an athlete running a marathon dressed as a donkey.
Mark Cross, of the Donkey Sanctuary, said “All you have to do is send us your favourite donkey photograph, along with a few words that tell the story behind the picture.
“You can even suggest the preferred date you would like your photo to appear and, wherever possible, we will match it up.”
