DR Who's longest serving assistant James McCrimmon visited Exmouth to meet his fans.
Actor Frazer Hines, who also played Joe Sugden in Emmerdale, signed autographs at Single Image Toys, in Albion Hill.
Shop owner John Hadlow said the actor was the latest in a long line of stars visiting the shop - which will soon move to larger premises in the city.
Mr Hines said: "John has been an extremely good host and I will definitely be coming back when the new shop opens.
"The range of fans have been right across the board - Emmerdale fans and fans from six-year-old who have just discovered my time in Dr Who.
