If you come down to the Byes in April, you could be in for a big surprise
Dragons are expected to cause quite a stir this St George’s Day for those daring enough to turn out for a fun walk in the Byes.
The Sid Valley Rotary Club has revealed plans for a patriotic fancy-dress theme for its annual celebration and is encouraging children to turn out as fire-breathing mythical creatures, while adults are invited to don red and white.
The fun walk will take place on Saturday, April 23, when families are invited to take part in a quiz, dragon hunt and cream tea in Sidford Social Hall.
There will be a best dragon fancy dress competition and all proceeds will go to Children’s Hospice South West. Further details will be released nearer to the time.
