Lucky East Devon residents will find out if they have bagged a share of a £3million prizepot from the People’s Postcode Lottery.

The charity lottery announced that residents that play the lottery and have the postcode EX10 0 are in with a chance of winning, after the postcode was drawn as the winner of this month’s Postcode Millions.

Winners will receive an invitation in the post today (Wednesday) to attend a special event to find out how much they have won.

The presentation will be held next Saturday {February 25} at Bedford Lawn Car Park and will be attended by lottery ambassador Jeff Brazier.

The television presenter said: “I’m really looking forward to heading to East Devon at the end of February for our Postcode Millions event.

“I’m sure all the players will be excited to find out exactly how much they’ve won. It’s the best part of my job revealing the cheques and I can’t wait to see all the reactions.”

Players of the charity lottery can also support causes up and down the country – as the lottery has raised £175.5million for charities in Great Britain and abroad.

In Sidmouth, the Growing Together Community Gardening project received £1,994 in funding to renovate a much loved public park in the town from the People’s Postcode Lottery.
