For our last photo challenge we asked our readers to send in photos for the theme ‘Shadows’ and we received a number super entries but our favourite has to be David Vickers’s photo entitled Sunshine in the Woods. David, from Axminster, captured a breathtaking “chance photo”, as he puts it, of his dogs while out for a walk in the woods. David is a member of our photo-sharing website iwitness24 and each week we put together a gallery of readers’ photos for you to enjoy. If you would like to get involved then why not join our community of local photographers at www.iwitness24.co.uk.

Photo Challenge: Our new photo-challenge is ‘Sunrises and sunsets’ and if you would like to enter then simply upload your shots to the iwitness24 East Devon photo-challenge group.

While walking by my house near to Rousdon I took this photo, I loved the way the trees created shadows that made them seem so tall, reaching along the field.
