Storm Emma hits Exmouth and the scene is all white. Picture: Anna Childs (Image: (c) copyright newzulu.com)
The freezing temperatures and blizzard conditions couldn’t stop our readers from venturing out in the snow to capture on camera the winter wonderland left behind by Storm Emma last week.
Last week we set our readers a photo challenge to share with us their snowy shots through our photography site iwitness24 and we’ve put together this massive gallery from all the submissions we received for you to enjoy.
If you would like to see your pictures appearing in your local paper, in print and online, then why not join our community of local photographers at www.iwitness24.co.uk.
PHOTO CHALLENGE: Every week we set our readers a photo challenge to have a go at and our new theme is ‘My Mum’. In case you’ve forgotten, it’s Mother’s Day on Sunday, March 11 and we’d love to see your picture of your special mum taken from anywhere around East Devon. So if you would like to enter then simply upload your shots, together with a special message for your mum, to the iwitness24 East Devon photo-challenge group.

All of these photos were taken by me over the couple of days that we had Storm Emma and the Beast from the East. I dont use any fancy cameras, just my IPhone 7 Plus with its built in capabilities. I love nature, the countryside and capturing what other people dont always see. Picture: Jason Wyatt (Image: (c) copyright newzulu.com)
