Scouts from East Devon stepped out in proud patriotic style for a St George’s Day parade through the town on Sunday (April 24).
The event marked one of the most important dates in the scouting calendar and saw beavers, cubs, brownies, guides, scouts and explorers from across the region join in procession.
Glorious sunshine helped ensure a strong turnout for the parade that left the Land of Canaan car park at 2pm, heading through the town to Ottery St Mary Parish Church, where a service was held.
Drum Major Ian Washburn with the Devon and Somerset Fire Brigade Band lead the procession.
