Easter tradition of singing hymns around floral cross upheld at Sidmouth’s Primley URC
CHURCH members at Primley United Reformed Church, Sidmouth, are pictured keeping up the tradition of hymn singing around a floral cross on Easter Sunday.
The cross is bare on Good Friday, with just a purple cloak and crown of thorns but on Easter Sunday the cross, inside the church and the one outside in the church garden in Primley Road, are covered in spring flowers to celebrate the resurrection of Christ and new life.
