Pupils at Beer Primary School will benefit from new outdoor facilities after the official opening of its spiritual garden and outdoor classroom.
Special guest Canon Philip Mantell, director of education, youth and children’s work for the Diocese of Exeter, cut the ribbon.
Students led a series of readings and sang for the guests, who included the Reverend Jeremy Trew, school governors, members of the Parish Church Council and parents and grandparents.
Visitors were invited to enjoy a hot drink and slice of cake in the garden and new classroom area.
