Promising youngsters from Sidmouth College turned their attention skyward as they visited the Norman Lockyer Observatory.
Science students in the Gifted and Talented programme met Einstein look-a-like Mac Currie, who took them on a tour of the site and showed them the universe.
Mac played them fun songs and videos about outer space, before an astronomical question and answer session that captured their imaginations.
