Father Christmas made a special appearance at Sidbury primary last Friday.
He had gifts for all the boys and girls, who were tasked with filling jam jars to give away in a tombola.
Combined with the raffle and stalls selling crafts made in class after-school fair took in 500 for the funds, and there were plenty of smiling faces.
The PTFA gave jam jars to each pupil to fill with whatever they could imagine, and they came back stuffed with toys, sweets, hair bobbles, and there was even a biscuit mix with a recipe.
They are getting into the Christmas spirit, with the nativity on Wednesday, and lunches and parties next week.
