SIDBURY Primary School pupils were ‘spotted’ tidying the school grounds on Friday.
The whole school of 82 pupils got involved with clearing leaves, weeding and generally making the grounds shipshape, many of them dressed in spotty clothing and accessories for Children In Need. They paid 1 each to not wear school uniform in support of the campaign.
Children from classes three and four were buddied up with younger ones in classes one and two, making it a real team effort.
Teaching assistant Jane Barribal said: “They were given specific sections of the grounds to tackle and they all did very well. One of the pupils from Class 2 commented that
“It was very cold but so much fun.”
Pupils and parents also brought in home-made cakes for the PTFA’s Children in Need cake sale after school.
