An animal-loving Sidmouth College student barked up the right tree to help raise £700 for the Dogs Trust.
Lucy Coles, who is in year 10, dressed up as a St Bernard to support the district council’s Dogs Day Out event in Exmouth.
Around 1,000 people and pets attended the event to promote responsible dog ownership.
Lucy, who wants to work with animals, said she is looking forward to her work experience with the council’s dog warden in July.
