Sidmouth College student Scott Treloar, gives big bug talk to staff and students
BRAVE Sidmouth College Year 10 student Scott Treloar, 14, fearlessly gave a presentation on Bugs, Beasts and Boas to more than 100 staff and students about his hobby of keeping exotic pets.
There was standing room only in the college library for the talk, said librarian Sue Willey.
“He gave a commanding presentation using Power Point to a hushed audience, showing us some of his collection of reptiles and spiders, took questions from the floor and then showed us the Giant African Millipede he had brought in, which students were able to handle.
“They were carefully supervised by Scott, who advised that hands should be well-washed after handling, as the millipede could exude cyanide!”
