The Busy Otters playgroup is delighted with the positive result of their first Ofsted report in their new premises.
Jackie Petrie, the manager, said it was like being tested as a new group but was very pleased with their overall ‘Good’ rating.
The inspector Brenda Flewitt visited to lat month to see the children in their new purpose-built premises in the grounds of Ottery St. Mary Primary School
Having been in the town for 25 years, this is the first inspection since the group moved to the new building earlier in 2011.
The inspector said: “Children are well cared for in safe and secure premises where they are involved in a good range of activities that help them learn through play and exploration.”
