The fun continued across the weekend for egg-cited youngsters in the run-up to Easter Sunday.
At Sidmouth Primary School, families were invited to an after-school Easter Fair. Children wore non-school uniform last Thursday in return for taking in a chocolate prize for a tombola. The fair also had a cake stall and raffled off hampers.
Little Popples Pre-school pupils had an egg-cellent start to their half-term by taking part in an Easter egg hunt.
Quick-footed participants hopped into action to find the tasty treats that had been hidden around the pre-school premises last Saturday.
