Free morning sessions for parents with toddlers at St John’s School, Sidmouth
A NEW Baby and Toddler Group at St John’s International School, Sidmouth, has got off to a good start. To be held on Monday mornings from 10am to 11.30am, parents and child minders are able to discuss activities for sessions with nursery supervisor Mandy Saunders as well as topics such as raising children, while little ones enjoy the delights of sand, water, paint and musical instruments. There is no charge for the children, but adults are asked to contribute 1 towards the cost of refreshments.
Mike Burgess, deputy head, said: “As part of our commitment to providing a cradle to adult educational environment, we are delighted to be able to offer this free service, giving parents and carers a forum to meet and their children the opportunity to explore our wonderful facilities without obligation.
“Both Mrs Saunders and I will be delighted to hear from other interested families who can contact us initially on (01395) 513984.”
