OTTER Rotter recyclers paid a visit to Newton Poppleford Primary School last week to deliver compost and lend a hand in the garden.
Children welcomed Roger Taylor and Paul Darlow as Year Three pupils have a trio of new raised beds to be planted and cultivated, writes Charlie Lister.
Teacher Angela Stephen said: “The garden is a great way for children to learn about waste and sustainability.”
The Otter Rotters are a non-profit organisation which works to tackle organic waste at a local level.
