A young Ottery bookworm has reached a milestone in reading by completing his gold Booktrack award.

Harvey Munday, 7, received a certificate and gold badge from Devon Libraries this week for notching up 100 completed books in just under a year.

Booktrack is a scheme run by Devon County Council which rewards children with badges and certificates for reading milestones and encourages library use.

The gold award for 100 books completed is the top honour and Ottery librarian Carol Pentecost wanted to congratulate Harvey on his commitment to reading.
