Novel way to learn to write with Sidmouth author Maria
A SERIES of writing classes will be held at Sidmouth’s Kennaway House.
The classes, led by author and journalist Maria McCarthy, will focus on writing novels and stories, and will run for five weeks.
Students of all ages and levels are welcome to attend either an evening or morning course, depending on which is more suitable.
The evening course begins on Wednesday, September 14, from 7pm to 9pm, while morning classes start on Thursday, September 15, from 10am to noon.
Maria also lectures at Bristol University and literature festivals, said: “I really enjoy teaching and in my classes I use techniques to help students free up their imagination alongside ones to hone their writing skills, and hopefully have fun too.”
