Top Exeter City FC coaches to hit the road for half term soccer roadshow

TOP football coaches from Exeter City FC, will hit the road again in half term for their soccer roadshows.

The tour, which takes in nine venues across Devon, kicks off at Sidmouth Football Club on Monday, October 24 as well as Okehampton and St Luke’s High School, Exeter.

Boys and girls, aged five to 14, can sign up to take part in a one or two-day course, during the school half term from October 24-28.

They will get the chance to improve their soccer skills under the guidance of Exeter City FC’s expert coaches.

Organised by Exeter City’s Football in the Community Trust, the roadshows provide a fun way to keep busy and stay active during the school holidays as well as developing new football skills.

More than 700 children took part in the summer courses.

Jamie Vittles, community trust manager for Exeter City FC’s FICT said: “We’re really excited to be taking the roadshows back out in Devon and offering more young players the chance to take part during the half-term.

“The roadshows are for players of all abilities, from complete beginners to budding pros, and are a great way to meet new people and make friends with other football fans in a safe, structured and fun environment.

“The roadshows are taking place right the way across the county and places need to be booked in advance, so check the details on our website to find out where the nearest one is to you.”

The October roadshows will run from 10am to 3pm in Exeter, Sidmouth, Okehampton, Crediton, Feniton, Barnstaple, Exmouth and Tiverton. Prices start from �15 for a one day course.
