Owl cupcake design wins Sidmouth’s Sarah a certificate

AT Sidmouth College sixth formers can have their cake and eat it.

Members of the Sixth Form have raised money for Concern Worldwide by joining in a national event called Bake a Difference.

Students had to design imaginative cupcakes, which were sold to raise money for the charity, an Irish charity that helps those in Haiti and countries across Africa and Asia.

The winning cakes, made by Sarah Hill, looked like owls and the teenagers had a hoot raising more than £165.

The Sixth Form students wore green and white for the day to resemble the Concern Worldwide logo.
