Sidmouth College students have gained an insight into Islam in a visit to an Exeter mosque.
The Year 10 religious education class watched the Muslim men perform their afternoon prayers, before a question and answer session with the Imam.
They learned about the followers’ relationship will Allah, family values and the rules of Shari’ah law.
Students Poppy Snowling and Chloe Millar said the visit helped them understand the religion more and broaden their knowledge for the classroom.
The class made the field trip on March 14.
