Sidmouth youngsters reveal aspirations for charity

School ties were swapped for superhero costumes and scrubs as St John’s School children thought about what they want to be when they grow up.
They were visited by a police officer, a firefighter, a lifeboat man, a vet, a doctor and a helicopter pilot to learn more about their jobs, as the pupils are studying communities and the people who help them.
The nursery and reception classes were raising money for Save the Children and were sponsored to come in costume last Friday.
Youngsters aspired to be doctors, princesses, Batman and Robin, spiders, and even David Cameron.
