St John’s International School in Sidmouth held its end-of-term Speech Day on Saturday.
After a year including school productions, choir services, ski trips, national athletics events and prize-giving ceremonies the school, in Broadway, ended the year with the presentation event for students.
Headmistress Angela Parry-Davies told parents: “It gives me enormous pleasure to be here, surrounded by such outstanding examples of the year’s achievements of your children – our students.
“It has been yet another year where our aim to offer a world class education – which produces genuinely rounded and developed youngsters who are happy, confident and do the best that they can – has been our daily mission.”
In light of key changes to the Year 9 programme and the arrival of Year 10 students for the first time in September, she said the school was pleased with the way students had applied themselves to their studies.
