SUMMER Fair fun at St Nicholas Junior School in Sidmouth proved a smash hit with scores of families last Thursday.
The event raised a whopping �1,223 for school funds and organisers hailed the amount as ‘fantastic’.
Headteacher Paul Walker praised parent, teacher and children helpers.
A special thank-you was reserved for Derek Hall and his daughter Emily for running a candy floss stall which raised a total of �50.
Ian Perry and Duncan Woods were also thanked for putting on a barbecue.
