MORE than 400 people from the emergency services took part in a multi-agency exercise on Dartmoor at the weekend to test their expertise during a mock search and rescue operation based on a Ten Tors training weekend.
MORE than 400 people from the emergency services took part in a multi-agency exercise on Dartmoor at the weekend to test their expertise during a mock search and rescue operation based on a Ten Tors training weekend.
Those taking part included teams from Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service, Dartmoor Rescue Group, Devon & Cornwall Police, South West Ambulance Trust, Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue, the Army, along with Exmoor and Cornwall mountain rescue groups.
A team of cadets acted as casualties on the day.
