Emergency callout after dishwasher fire in Sidmouth

Fire fighters were called out yesterday evening (Sunday) after reports of alarms activating in a Sidmouth home.

A crew from the town attended Alexandria Road at 10.15pm and confirmed there had been a fire in a dishwasher, which had been removed from the property.

The accidental fire was out on arrival.

Damage was limited to the dishwasher.
