Firefighters were called to reports of a vehicle fire in Sidford last night (Thursday).
Emergency services were called to the scene, in Church Street, at about 8.20pm.
One engine from Sidmouth attended and crews confirmed there was a small amount of smoke issuing.
Firefighters extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said duty of care was left with vehicle recovery.
