Entries open for Sidmouth in Bloom’s floral competition

Show off your gardens this summer by taking part in Sidmouth in Bloom’s annual floral competition.

Green-fingered residents of all ages are being encouraged to sign up by July 23 in one of 16 categories.

Applicants can enter into more than one of the 16 categories, which range from large gardens to the newly-created apartments with professional gardeners’ help.

Restaurants, hotels, churches and retirement homes can also battle it out to win one of a number of business-based categories.

Judging will begin after July 23 and the winners will receive their awards at Sidmouth in Bloom’s celebration of success evening on October 25.
