A THREE-DAY musical extravaganza planned for Escot Park this summer has been cancelled.Escot Sounds, which was launched last year with concerts by The Feeling and The Australian Pink Floyd Show, has been scrapped due to 'unprecedented competition'.Organisers Big Wheel had planned to expand on last year's success with increased capacity and an extra day of music. They said they had not got the marketing campaign up to speed and, due to competition from other events nearby, were not happy to go ahead unless they could make the event a complete success. The event, however, is due to return next year.Anyone with tickets will be offered a full refund, contact info@escotsounds.co.uk for details.
