IF you are languishing in our summer showers after enjoying a fortnight in the sun, any redundant Euro coins that cannot be exchanged at the bank are being sought by Sidmouth Parish Church to boost its reordering fund.

IF you are languishing in our summer showers after enjoying a fortnight in the sun, any redundant Euro coins that cannot be exchanged at the bank are being sought by Sidmouth Parish Church to boost its reordering fund.

Treasurer Philip Hughes suggests in the parish magazine: "Instead of keeping them in a drawer or in the airport 'drop', please put them in a reordering envelope in the collections and I will turn them into £s for the benefit of the appeal.

"The odd note would be welcome as well!"

Currently the church is closed for major works and services are being conducted at Sidmouth Methodist Church.
